DBF Manager — sample files v1

All data is invented for testing. No real customers, personal details or business records are included. You may copy and modify these files for testing.
Requires DBF Manager on macOS 14 or later. No account or Internet connection is required after downloading.

Files
catalogue-dbase-iii.dbf — dBase III: 8 records; text, decimal numbers, dates and logical values.
projets-dbase-iv.dbf + projets-dbase-iv.dbt — dBase IV: 6 records; short, long, multiline and empty memos.
journal-dbase-v.dbf — dBase V: 6 records; text, dates, decimal numbers and logical values.
mesures-visual-foxpro.dbf + mesures-visual-foxpro.fpt — Visual FoxPro: 6 records; integer, currency, double, date/time, logical values and memos.

Quick test
1. Extract the ZIP. Copy the extracted folder before editing. Keep each DBF and its matching DBT/FPT together with the same base filename.
2. Launch DBF Manager. Choose File > Open (Command-O) and open catalogue-dbase-iii.dbf, or drag the DBF from Finder. Expect 8 records.
3. Search for "Azur", then clear the search. Sort PRIX or ARTICLE by clicking its column header. Reorder, resize or hide a column.
4. Edit a product and its stock value. Add a record, duplicate one, and try marking or deleting a record in your working copy. Save and reopen the DBF to check the changes.
5. Open projets-dbase-iv.dbf. Expect 6 records. Read and edit NOTES, including the first long memo. Save and reopen with its DBT alongside. The third record intentionally has an empty memo.
6. Open journal-dbase-v.dbf, then mesures-visual-foxpro.dbf. Expect 6 records each. In the latter, check dates/times, numeric values and NOTES; edit a memo, save and reopen with its FPT alongside.
7. Select a numeric column to try its statistics and copy actions. Try clearing a column only in a working copy.
8. Filter a table and choose Export Visible Rows to CSV. Open the CSV to check that it contains the visible records in the displayed order.
9. Choose File > New Table to create a separate table with text, numeric, date and logical fields. Add records, save and reopen it.
10. Close the main window with Command-W, then use Command-O, Window > Show Main Window (Command-0), or the Dock icon to reopen it.
