From archives to today’s images
New life for your images.
Everyday photos, specialist files or artwork from discontinued computers: ImageConvert combines several entirely local decoding engines.
Modern formats
PNG, JPEG, HEIC/HEIF, GIF, TIFF, BMP and photo formats supported by macOS.
Retro heritage
552 retro formats listed by RECOIL: Amiga, Atari, Commodore, Apple II, ZX Spectrum, Amstrad, MSX and other discontinued platforms. Images are imported for conversion; writing all 552 original formats is not supported.
Specialist formats
Uncompressed DICOM, XCF, FITS, JBIG/JBG, SVG, PCX, WPG, XBM, XPM, XWD, VIFF and RLE. DICOM is limited to supported images, excluding series and diagnostic use.
